As I said one week ago today… the greatest birthday gift in a long long time would be to get word that we are out of the abyss that is otherwise known as IBESR.  And- who doesn’t like extended birthday celebrations?!  Last night we got word that IT HAS HAPPENED!  We were cautiously optimistic it would happen this week.  But, until it does you just continue to pray… and surrender… and wait… and breathe… and live your life… then do it all over again the next hour :).  We got our lifeline! We’ve been waiting for this since October 21st. We were tired of floating in our little boat.  Ain’t nobody got time for that! (see the famous YouTube video- it’s a family fav)

Thanks to anyone of you who prayed for us, Davensly, our lawyer, and the people in authority at IBESR recently. God has been at work and continues to be even when we do not see.  The best part?!?  We get to make our travel plans to head down for court! In February! We are waiting for confirmation that we could go down on the 16th and stay until the 19th.  Would love to go sooner but Scott will be in FL for sales meetings the week before. Also, we want to be here for the end of Cali’s hockey season over the next 10 days. She plays 5 games in 7 days (thanks to the freeze-outs we’re having) then playoffs. We’re getting used to this waiting though… pray we do not have to delay further than that. The sooner we go, the sooner our boy comes home.
