I mentioned a few days ago that Wayzata HS (huge school in western suburbs) donated 4 boxes of t-shirts for us to bring to Haiti. So, on Saturday I met my friend, Chris Easton (she works there in the athletic dept), to pick up the goods. I told her we would find something to do with them!
Last night I got a message from Sara. She had contacted an acquaintance in Haiti who runs The Apparent Project (they employ Haitians to make the fun jewelry most of you have seen or purchased at some point). Here’s a portion of their conversation:
